HISTORICAL INITIATIVE · LAUNCHED 2020

A practical answer to “What can I do?”

Project Unity launched Together We Can in response to the death of George Floyd. The initiative gave individuals and organizations a visible way to express commitment and join a larger conversation about racial equity and shared responsibility.

THE 2020 RESPONSE

Concern became a shared public commitment.

The Together We Can wristband became a physical expression of solidarity, mindfulness against hate, and personal action against racism. Project Unity distributed wristbands through Together We Dine and by request for teams and individuals.

Project Unity reported 21,557 wristbands distributed since 2020 in its 2025 program statistics. Visitors interested in current availability should contact the team.
